As a United States Marshal for 25 years, Friederich survived the mean and unforgiving streets of New York, Miami, Washington DC, and Baltimore working fugitive apprehension warrants, high profile personal protection details, and handling extremely dangerous criminals and prisoners, to include highly trained members of terrorist organizations, street gangs and prison gangs.
Further, from 2002-2004 Friederich was selected by senior agency management to lead an elite team of U.S Marshals Service personnel on a security enhancement mission to Colombia, South America, to include providing tactical and operational training to elite Colombian law enforcement personnel. This award winning mission involved travel throughout Colombia, to include travel to guerrilla controlled areas of the country where being properly switched on could mean the difference between life and death.
During 2008-2009 Friederich conducted a 1-year security consulting mission in Iraq, travelling to some of the most dangerous areas in the country.
